Rotary Strength Horizontal Slam

November 1, 2014

The Horizontal Slam Exercise is executed in a Transverse Plane, and requires strong neutral posture position, which provides optimum performance for the pelvis and hips to drive from a concentrated core engagement position. Moving in a low plane consistently places significant loading onto the lower extremities. Breathing is of cardinal importance, with momentary pauses during the starting position and end positions. Technical execution requires slow controlled moments without momentum or ballistic movement execution. Chris van Loggerenberg
